# Create your wallet

Setting up Zidee takes a few minutes. You only need your phone and a Discord account or an email address.

## Before you start

* **Use your phone.** Zidee is built for mobile. On a desktop or laptop browser the app does not open.
* **Use Chrome or Safari.** Browsers inside other apps (for example Instagram, X, Telegram, WhatsApp, TikTok or Facebook) are blocked, because they cannot create your wallet safely. If you opened a link inside one of those apps, copy it and open it in Chrome or Safari.

## Step 1: Open Zidee and sign in

1. Go to [wallet.zirodelta.com](https://wallet.zirodelta.com) on your phone.
2. The first time, you see a short introduction. Read it or skip it.
3. Tap **Continue**. A sign-in window from Privy opens.
4. Choose **Discord** or **email**. With email, Privy sends you a one-time code to enter.

Zidee then sets up your wallet. This takes a moment.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you see a screen that says **Almost open**, new accounts are paused at that moment. Follow our [Discord](https://discord.gg/wSseuK26pH) for updates.
{% endhint %}

## Step 2: Confirm how your keys work

Before you reach the wallet, Zidee shows one short screen about your keys. It explains that:

* Your private key is held by Privy, not by Zidee.
* You get back into your wallet by signing in again with the same Discord account or email.
* You can export your private key from **Settings** whenever you want.

Tick the box and tap **I understand · Continue**. You only do this once.

This step does not export your key. To actually back it up, follow [Export and store your key](/getting-started/export-and-store-your-key.md).

## Step 3: Add Zidee to your home screen

Zidee is a web app. Adding it to your home screen makes it open full screen like any other app. On iPhone, it is also required for notifications.

* **iPhone (Safari):** tap the **Share** button, scroll down and tap **Add to Home Screen**.
* **Android (Chrome):** open the browser menu (the three dots) and tap **Add to Home screen** or **Install app**.

## Step 4: Protect your account

Turn on two-step verification. Open the menu by tapping your name at the top of the app, then go to **Settings** > **Security**. Privy will then ask for a passkey or an authenticator code before transactions and key exports. See [Your keys and self-custody](/security-and-keys/your-keys-and-self-custody.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.zidee.xyz/getting-started/create-your-wallet.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
