# Swap into ZDLT

You can swap SOL or USDC into ZDLT inside Zidee. Swaps are routed through Jupiter, which looks for the best available price on Solana.

Swaps in Zidee go one way: into ZDLT. You cannot swap ZDLT back into SOL or USDC inside the app.

## What a swap costs

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Every swap carries a 2.5% Zidee platform fee (250 basis points).** You also pay the normal Solana network fee in SOL. The app does not show the platform fee as a separate line yet, so keep it in mind when you look at the estimate.
{% endhint %}

For example, on a swap worth US$100, the platform fee is US$2.50. The fee is collected inside the same swap transaction you approve.

## Minimum swap

The smallest swap is **US$3**. If you enter less, Zidee shows the minimum and does not fetch a quote.

## How to swap

1. On Home, tap **Move** > **Swap**. Zidee starts from whichever of SOL or USDC you hold more of. You can also tap **Swap** on the SOL, USDC or ZDLT screen.
2. To pay with the other token, tap the token you pay with and pick SOL or USDC.
3. Enter an amount, or tap **25%**, **50%**, **75%** or **Max**.
4. Check the estimate: how much ZDLT you get, its value in US dollars, the slippage and the price impact.
5. Approve the swap in Privy's window.
6. When it is done, you can open the transaction on Solscan.

The quote refreshes automatically about every 30 seconds, and once more right before you approve. Prices on Solana move fast, so the final amount can differ a little from the first estimate.

## Slippage

Slippage is how far the price is allowed to move against you between the quote and the moment your swap lands. Jupiter sets it for each quote, and Zidee shows it as a percentage. If the price moves further than that, the swap fails instead of filling at a worse price.

## Price impact

Price impact is how much your own swap moves the price. A large swap compared with the liquidity available gets fewer ZDLT per dollar. Zidee shows the impact when there is one. If it looks high, try a smaller amount.

## SOL for fees

* **Paying with SOL:** **Max** keeps some SOL back for the network fee. On your first ZDLT purchase it keeps a little more, because the swap also creates your ZDLT token account.
* **Paying with USDC:** you still need a little SOL for the network fee. If you do not have enough, Zidee tells you before you approve.

## If a swap looks stuck

If you closed or reloaded the app during a swap, Zidee may show a warning that a swap you approved was not seen to confirm.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Do not approve the swap again. The first one may have landed, and a second one would spend your SOL twice. Check your wallet on Solscan first, then tap **Start fresh**.
{% endhint %}

## Selling or moving ZDLT

To move ZDLT out of Zidee, send it to another Solana wallet or to an exchange that supports ZDLT on Solana. See [Send and receive](/using-zidee/send-and-receive.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.zidee.xyz/using-zidee/swap-into-zdlt.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
